Speciellt under semestertider kan det vara bra att fundera lite mer p\u00e5 fenomenet dricks och hur det till\u00e4mpas. Oftast \u00e4r detta f\u00f6rknippat fr\u00e4mst med utlandsresor och det kan vara lite knepigt ibland att veta vad som f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas, speciellt om man inte bes\u00f6kt resm\u00e5let innan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grundregeln \u00e4r att du ska dricksa om du \u00e4r n\u00f6jd med service och l\u00e5ta bli om du inte \u00e4r det. Faktum \u00e4r \u00e4nd\u00e5 att dricksen i m\u00e5nga l\u00e4nder utg\u00f6r en viktig del av l\u00f6nen f\u00f6r servicepersonalen.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dricks p\u00e5 utlandsresan och hemma<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hur mycket man skall ge i dricks f\u00f6r ett restaurangbes\u00f6k, f\u00f6r taxiresan eller till hotellpersonalen kan variera beroende p\u00e5 destination. Det l\u00f6nar sig allts\u00e5 att bekanta sig med vad som g\u00e4ller i ifr\u00e5gavarande land innan du beger dig iv\u00e4g p\u00e5 din resa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Men hur ser det d\u00e5 ut om man endast h\u00e5ller sig inom landet p\u00e5 sin semester? N\u00e5got som ju \u00e4r extra aktuellt i dessa tider. \u00c4ven om det inte \u00e4r lika vanligt h\u00e4r eftersom servicen i allm\u00e4nhet \u00e4r inbakade i priserna, \u00e4r det inget som f\u00f6rbjuder en att ge lite extra f\u00f6r bra service. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Traditionellt sett har 10% av totalsumman varit en r\u00e4tt vanlig drickspeng b\u00e5de h\u00e4r och utomlands. Men det finns faktiskt en del kulturskillnader \u00e4ven p\u00e5 detta omr\u00e5de och det skiljer sig vad man f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas ge i dricks i olika l\u00e4nder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dricks i \u00e4ldre tider<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Det \u00e4r intressant att g\u00e5 tillbaka i tiden och se vad som sades om dricks i \u00e4ldre etikettb\u00f6cker. I boken Etikett och god ton II<\/em> fr\u00e5n \u00e5r 1933 ges r\u00e4tt ing\u00e5ende tips f\u00f6r hur man skall g\u00e5 tillv\u00e4ga n\u00e4r man ger dricks i olika sammanhang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Det skall till\u00e4ggas att samh\u00e4llet \u00e4ndrats en hel del sedan dess och att m\u00e5nga av reglerna d\u00e4rf\u00f6r kan tas med en nypa salt – speciellt inom vissa branscher d\u00e4r man inte f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntas ge dricks nuf\u00f6rtiden. Till dessa branscher kan anses h\u00f6ra postleveranser och barberingstj\u00e4nster, bara f\u00f6r att n\u00e4mna n\u00e5gra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vad skall jag ge i dricks? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Tjugusjunde kapitlet – Etikett och god ton II. Praktiskt handbok i s\u00e4ttet att uppf\u00f6ra sig. (\u00c5hl\u00e9n & \u00c5kerlunds Boktryckeri 1933)<\/i><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Man skall allt vara bra v\u00e4rldsvan eller bra tjock-hudad f\u00f6r att inte drickspenningfr\u00e5gan ibland skall irritera en. Tro inte att man l\u00f6ser drickspenningsfr\u00e5gan genom att bara kasta ut pengar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

D\u00e5 f\u00f6rst\u00f6r man marknaden f\u00f6r alla andra, som inte ha s\u00e5 god r\u00e5d, men som \u00e4nd\u00e5 vilja g\u00f6ra r\u00e4tt f\u00f6r sig. Och tro inte heller, att man l\u00f6ser den genom att till\u00e4mpa 10 procent p\u00e5 vad r\u00e4kningen kostat. Det passar visst inte alltid in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slutligen, tro inte, att d\u00e4rf\u00f6r, att 10 procents servisavgift inf\u00f6rts p\u00e5 en del hotell b\u00e5de h\u00e4r och utomlands, dricksfr\u00e5gan \u00e4r ur v\u00e4rlden! Man m\u00e5ste i en del fall \u00e4nd\u00e5 ge dricks fast inte lika mycket, som om servisavgiften inte ber\u00e4knats. D\u00e4remot erl\u00e4gges inga drickspengar p\u00e5 vissa hotell, d\u00e4r det tydligt anges, att drickspengar \u00e4ro f\u00f6rbjudna; den anst\u00e4llde, som toge emot dricks, finge ofelbart mista platsen, om direktionen finge reda p\u00e5 saken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L\u00e5t oss f\u00f6rst t\u00e4nka oss dricks p\u00e5 ett hotell. \u00c4ter man d\u00e4r inte, utan endast har ett rum, skall man ge dricks \u00e5t portiern, st\u00e4derskan och borstaren, som tar upp och ned bagaget. Intar man ocks\u00e5 sina m\u00e5ltider d\u00e4r, tillkommer kyparen, och stannar man l\u00e4ngre, f\u00e5r man kanske att g\u00f6ra med \u00e4nnu en st\u00e4derska samt med nattportiern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Att inte 10 procent-systemet duger h\u00e4r, framg\u00e5r l\u00e4tt, om man t\u00e4nker sig, att man bott en natt p\u00e5 ett hotell och betalar 5 kronor f\u00f6r rummet. 50 \u00f6re r\u00e4cka sannerligen inte till b\u00e5de portier, st\u00e4derska och borstare! Rent ut sagt b\u00f6ra de ha en krona var. Man ger n\u00e4mligen inte p\u00e5 hotell mindre dricks \u00e4n 1 krona. En st\u00e4derska t. ex., ber\u00e4knar f\u00e5 1 krona f\u00f6r f\u00f6rsta natten, 1 kr. 50 \u00f6re f\u00f6r tv\u00e5 n\u00e4tter, 2 kr. f\u00f6r tre n\u00e4tter och sedan 50 \u00f6re natten intill veckans slut (utom p\u00e5 helt enkla hotell).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Portiern skall ha ungef\u00e4r lika mycket som st\u00e4derskan, borstaren mindre, men den ena och andra skall naturligtvis ha j\u00e4mf\u00f6relsevis mer, om de gjort oss s\u00e4rskilda tj\u00e4nster. M\u00e5nga ge, n\u00e4r hotellr\u00e4kningen ej \u00f6verstiger 20 kr., 30 procent i dricks; \u00f6verstiger den 20 kr., men ej g\u00e5r upp till 50 kr. 20 procent, \u00f6verstiger den 50, men ej g\u00e5r upp till 100 15 procent. D\u00e4r\u00f6ver 10 procent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bor man sju dagar \u00e5 10 kr. per dag i helinackordering p\u00e5 ett st\u00f6rre pensionat eller hotell, betalar man f\u00f6r denna vecka t. ex. 11 kr. i dricks: portiern 3 kr., st\u00e4derskan 3 kr., kyparen 3 kr. och borstaren-vaktm\u00e4staren 2 kr. Har man bott en m\u00e5nad p\u00e5 hotellet, allts\u00e5 betalar 300 kr., r\u00e4cker 10 procent, 30 kronor. Portiern 8 kr., st\u00e4derskan 8 kr., kyparen 8 kr., borstaren 6 kronor. Obs.! Man betalar dricks var vecka, om man bor l\u00e4ngre tid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Naturligtvis ger man ej i proportion lika mycket drickspengar p\u00e5 ett mindre hotell eller pensionat med f\u00e5 anst\u00e4llda. P\u00e5 ett sommarpensionat t. ex. betalar man f\u00f6r en m\u00e5nad 7 \u00e5 8 procent i dricks, p\u00e5 mer enkla pensionat i stad, d\u00e4r man bor m\u00e5nadsvis, 6 procent. Men p\u00e5 ett finare pensionat 20 procent \u00e4ven om man bor flera m\u00e5nader. P\u00e5 privatsanatorier i landsorten 10 \u00e5 12 kr. i m\u00e5naden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ser man 10 procent uteslutande ur servit\u00f6rsynpunkt, allts\u00e5 som dricks f\u00f6r mat, s\u00e5 passar det ej alltid. Man kan ju inte ge 4 \u00f6re f\u00f6r en kopp kaffe \u00e5 40 \u00f6re! H\u00e4rvidlag kan man inte ge mindre \u00e4n 10 \u00f6re. F\u00f6r en lunch \u00e5 75 \u00f6re ger man minst 10, men hellre 15 \u00f6re, d\u00e4remot \u00e4r det tillr\u00e4ckligt att f\u00f6r en lunch \u00e5 2 kr. 50 \u00f6re betala 25 \u00f6re i dricks. Men man ger g\u00e4rna i \u00f6verkant, s\u00e4rskilt f\u00f6r middag och sup\u00e9. Om t. ex. ett ungt par superat f\u00f6r l\u00e5t oss s\u00e4ga 7 kronor, s\u00e5 ger man 1 krona, g\u00e5r r\u00e4kningen p\u00e5 17 ger man 2 \u00e5 2 kr. 25 \u00f6re. I dessa fall ger man betalt mer f\u00f6r servit\u00f6rens tid \u00e4n f\u00f6r hans arbete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I fr\u00e5ga om en lunch \u2014 en m\u00e5ltid som ju g\u00e5r fort att f\u00f6rt\u00e4ra \u2014 kan man ofta till\u00e4mpa 10 procent, d\u00e4rf\u00f6r att servit\u00f6rens bord undan f\u00f6r undan blir upptaget av olika personer. Vid en middag, en sup\u00e9 d\u00e4remot, d\u00e5 man kanske sitter kvar flera timmar, avst\u00e4nger man bordet fr\u00e5n andra och m\u00e5ste d\u00e4rf\u00f6r ber\u00e4kna drygare dricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ger man en bjudning p\u00e5 hotell ber\u00e4knas till servit\u00f6rerna 10 procent p\u00e5 vad festen kostar, och dessa pengar utdelas av hovm\u00e4staren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Om man \u00e4r g\u00e4st hos en familj \u00f6ver en natt ger man vanligen endast den person som st\u00e4dar ens rum och d\u00e5 1 kr. 50 \u00f6re, \u00f6ver tv\u00e5 n\u00e4tter (weekend) 2 kr. Bor man l\u00e4ngre ger man b\u00e5de henne och den som lagar maten. F\u00f6r 14 dagars vistelse, t. ex. 10 kr. till husan, 5 till kokerskan. Finns chauff\u00f6r, ger man honom f\u00f6r weekend 1 kr. 50 \u00f6re, f\u00f6r 14 dagar 5 \u00e5 6 kr. om man besv\u00e4rat honom mycket, har han endast skjutsat fr\u00e5n och till stationen 2 kr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vad ger man en taxichauff\u00f6r? 10 procent. Men i \u00f6verkant om man \u00e4r flera, om man skjutsas p\u00e5 natten och om taxametern visar \u00f6ver 5 kr. F\u00f6r en f\u00e4rd p\u00e5 5 kr. t. ex. 1 kr. i dricks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man betalar vanligen 50 \u00f6re i dricks f\u00f6r bad, f\u00f6r manicure, klippning, mise en plis och champonering. F\u00f6r permanent-ning 3 \u00e5 5 kr., beroende p\u00e5 vad permanentningen kostar. F\u00f6r rakning betala ej alla herrar dricks. Men 10 procent f\u00f6r klippning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

V\u00e4rdebrevb\u00e4raren skall ha 25 \u00e5 50 \u00f6re. Portvakt, bud fr\u00e5n aff\u00e4rer, som man dagligen handlar hos, och brevb\u00e4raren skola ha dricks vid julen. Bud fr\u00e5n stora firmor f\u00e5 s\u00e4llan dricks nu f\u00f6r tiden, men, om det ges, 10 \u00f6re, d\u00e4remot skola bud fr\u00e5n modist, skr\u00e4ddare och s\u00f6mmerska ha dricks. 50 \u00f6re f\u00f6r kl\u00e4nning, kappa, kostym \u00e4r vanligt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vid vissa bensindep\u00e5er \u00e4r drickspengar f\u00f6rbjudet, annars ger man en 25-\u00f6ring om man f\u00e5tt t. ex. hjulen uppumpade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kan man ge alla dricks? F\u00f6rr gav man aldrig dricks till en skjutsbonde, allts\u00e5 den som \u00e4gde vagnen, \u00e4ven om han k\u00f6rde, utan endast till hans dr\u00e4ngar, nu ger man \u00e4ven till \u00e4garen av t.ex. en damfrisering.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
