Nu st\u00e5r det klart att kocken William Pr\u00fctz och bartendern Mimmi Arvidsson har blandat de vinnande varianterna. Recepten som r\u00f6stats fram bjuder p\u00e5 smaker fr\u00e5n vanilj, ingef\u00e4ra och apelsin respektive galiamelon, gurka och citronmeliss. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I \u00e5r avnjuter vi allra helst Gin & Tonics smaksatta med vanilj, ingef\u00e4ra och apelsin respektive galiamelon, gurka och citronmeliss, i alla fall om man ser till resultatet i Schweppes t\u00e4vling Sveriges B\u00e4sta Gin & Tonic<\/a>. Vinnare i bartenderklassen blev Mimmi Arvidsson<\/strong>, bartender p\u00e5 Schnitzelplatz Lagerhuset i G\u00f6teborg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hennes GT kammade hem hela 60% av folkets r\u00f6ster i klassen f\u00f6r bartenders. GT:n \u201dSommar p\u00e5 Bryggan\u201d bjuder p\u00e5 en mix av s\u00f6t melon, sval gurka och aromatisk citronmeliss. Det hela sveps in i en doft av ros. Mimmi inspirerades av sommaren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0– Jag ville att min GT skulle f\u00f6rmedla k\u00e4nslan av en perfekt sommarkv\u00e4ll i G\u00f6teborg. Doften av sommar fann jag i rosvatten. Melonen f\u00f6ljde upp rosen fint och gurkan gav en h\u00e4rlig svalka. Jag b\u00f6rjade jobba i baren f\u00f6r bara ett \u00e5r sedan och h\u00e4r st\u00e5r jag nu med titeln Sveriges B\u00e4sta Gin & Tonic, det k\u00e4nns helt otroligt!<\/em> ber\u00e4ttar Mimmi Arvidsson, som skapat receptet som r\u00f6stats fram till Sveriges B\u00e4sta Gin & Tonic i bartenderklassen 2021. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinnare bland hemmamixare blev kocken William Pr\u00fctz<\/strong> fr\u00e5n Motala. Hans GT kammade hem 39% av folkets r\u00f6ster bland de t\u00e4vlande bidragen i klassen f\u00f6r hemmamixare. \u201dThe Sauvignon GT\u201d \u00e4r en fyllig GT i vilken ginen balanseras av pepprig tonic, ingef\u00e4ra, vanilj och apelsin.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00a0– Jag \u00e4r r\u00e4tt nyfiken och provar g\u00e4rna nya smaker. Efter ett tips fr\u00e5n en arbetskamrat s\u00e5 kom jag \u00f6ver en flaska gin baserad p\u00e5 ett Sauvignon Blanc vin, vilket inte h\u00f6r till vanligheterna. Ginen hade lagrats p\u00e5 franska ekfat i sex m\u00e5nader och f\u00e5tt en smak av enb\u00e4r, ingef\u00e4ra, peppar, vanilj och apelsinskal. Den inspirerade mig i skapandet av mitt recept. Det k\u00e4nns h\u00e4ftigt och hedrande att s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga r\u00f6stat p\u00e5 mig. H\u00e4r vill jag tipsa om att prova en lokalproducerad gin, det finns m\u00e5nga svenska varum\u00e4rken att uppt\u00e4cka. N\u00e4r det kommer till tonic s\u00e5 rekommenderar jag att du v\u00e4ljer en variant som inte \u00e4r f\u00f6r s\u00f6t. D\u00e5 har du st\u00f6rre utrymme att smaks\u00e4tta med s\u00f6tare ingredienser senare, utan att tappa GT:ns fina balans. Koka upp under omr\u00f6rning till dess att sockret sm\u00e4lt och melonen blivit mjuk. Ta fr\u00e5n spisen och l\u00e5t svalna. L\u00e5t melonen ligga kvar i sockerlagen \u00f6ver natten.
